Our History
Founded in 2011, the SBOA Tenant Insurance program
was created by SBOA leadership and top operators with a vision to design an
insurance product tailored for operators and their tenants, rather than for
insurance companies. Partnering with Cornerstone Insurance Producers, we
brought this innovative product to market, quickly becoming a formidable
competitor and capturing significant market share. Since 2012, our program has
consistently won the ISS Best Tenant Insurance award from the ISS Readers Poll.
Cornerstone Insurance Producers, an insurance agency
and claims TPA, administers the program on behalf of an A-rated carrier and has
been the exclusive managing general agent since inception. Our team of
insurance professionals possesses deep expertise in the self-storage industry.
As a specialty MGA, we focus on underwriting niche and customizable programs
that meet market needs and capacity demands. We leverage technology and
innovation to deliver seamless service to our customers and trading partners.
Headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, we are licensed in all US
